Hugo tried to not sound so upset, but Lucien’s ignorance of his studying not leaving him any choice. Any choice but to tell his dad that everything is wrong and he needs to start studying. But, Hugo didn’t want to get in straightforward with that information. Just because he’s scared of what can possibly happen.
